The details:
Ages: Our camp is open to kiddos ages 5-12 years!
*PLEASE NOTE: We cannot enroll any child under the age of five. If your five year-old hasn’t been to kindergarten yet, we ask that you limit their enrollment to four weeks of camp or fewer.
Daily Hours: Monday through Thursday: 8a - 5:30p; Friday: 8a - 4p
Group Sizes/Ratios: Generally speaking, kids will be placed in groups of approximately 30-35, with 3 caregivers across two shared classrooms. As always, there will be other staff members who act as "floaters" between groups, to support whenever needed, like during special projects, field trips, etc.
The tentative groupings will be as follows:
Cups (5 year olds; rising kinder & rising 1st grade)
Pints (rising 2nd & rising 3rd)
Quarts (rising 3rd & rising 4th)
Gallons (rising 5th & rising 6th)
These groupings are subject to change pending enrollment numbers.
Group Requests: Campers will be grouped according to the above parameters. If you have a 3rd grader and have requests to be grouped with another 3rd grader, you may indicate that on your summer camp application. If your child’s age is not consistent with their grade, please also indicate that on your application. Please understand that a lot goes into the process of enrolling summer camp and grouping 100+ kids. While we will do our best to honor grouping requests, we cannot make any promises that we will definitely be able to make them work.
Activity Schedule: Before any enrolled camp session, we’ll email you a weekly schedule, which will outline times & locations of field trips, along with detailed descriptions of projects for the week, etc. It will also include notes on special items that you need to bring for the session. All in all, it’s an incredibly helpful tool to make sure you’re prepared for camp, so PAY ATTENTION!
Field Trips: Each group will go on 2-3 field trips per week; unless noted in your weekly schedule, groups will be transported in one of our buses by a CDL-certified driver on our staff.
Cancellation Policy: If you need to cancel enrollment for any session, please do so with at least 30 days' notice of the start of the session in question. You're welcome to reach out and inquire about canceling with less than 30 days' notice, and if we're able to fill your spot quickly, you'll be off the hook.
Meet & Greet: We will open our facility on Saturday, April 26th from 10 am - 2 pm so that families have an opportunity to come see the space and meet the grown-ups who will make summer camp amazing! We’ll send out email reminders to families who have signed up for camp!
